Das Projekt wurde gefördert vom Europäischen Sozialfond (ESF) und vom Europäischen Fonds für regionale Entwicklung (EFRE).

Förderverlauf

Im Jahr 2003 hat das Bildungsministeriums des Landes Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Landesforschungsschwerpunkte (LFS) ausgeschrieben. Ein Konsortium unter Beteiligung des Instituts für Informatik der Universität Rostock hat den Zuschlag für eines dieser Projekte erhalten.

Der LFS "Multimediales Content-Management in Mobilen Umgebungen mit Multimodalen Nutzungsschnittstellen" (M6C) wurde von 2004-2005 gefördert.

Als Fortsetzungsprojekt wurde von 2006-2007 der LFS "Mobile Assistenzsysteme" (MA) bewilligt.

Im Jahr 2007 wurde die Förderung dieser Schwerpunkite in das Wirtschaftsministerium des Landes verlagert. Dort wurde der LFS MA kurzzeitig unter dem Namen "Proaktive verteilte Informationssysteme" (ProVIS) fortgeführt.

In der letzten Förderperiode von 2008-2011 wurden vier Anwendungsprojekte mit den Namen MARIKA, MARTA, MAXIMA und MAIKE im Landesforschungsverbund "Mobile Assistenzsysteme" (LFV-MA) durchgeführt.

Kurzbeschreibung

Mobile Assistenz

Mobile Assistenzsysteme helfen Menschen, die beruflich oder touristisch unterwegs sind und die in bestimmten Situationen Unterstützung benötigen. Diese Unterstützung soll unmerklich und automatisch, ohne explizite Anforderung über Kommandos, von der Systemumgebung bereitgestellt werden. Das Bereitstellen der Hilfe geschieht optisch oder akustisch, beispielsweise durch eine Sprachausgabe. Mobile Assistenzsysteme erfordern daher die Zusammenarbeit diverser Informatik-Forschungsgruppen, von der Netzzugangstechnik über die Verarbeitung von Multimedia-Daten bis hin zu adaptiven Nutzerschnittstellen.

Das Verbundprojekt „Mobile Assistenzsysteme“ gliederte sich in vier Einzelprojekte:

  • MARTA – Mobile Assistenzsysteme für Reise- und Tourismus-Anwendungen
  • MARIKA – Mobile Assistenzsysteme für RoutenInformation und KrankenAkte
  • MAXIMA – Mobile Assistenzsysteme für eXpertengestütztes Instandhaltungs-MAnagement
  • MAIKE – Mobile Assistenzsysteme für Intelligente Kooperierende Räume und Ensembles

Der Forschungsverbund

Der Landesforschungsverbund Mobile Assistenzsysteme war ein Verbund von Industrie- und Forschungspartnern in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, der sich innerhalb der Verbundprojekte Marta, Marika, Maxima und Maike mit der Entwicklung neuer IT-Produkte in den Bereichen Tourismus, Gesundheit, Instandhaltung und intelligenten Umgebungen unter dem Leitthema der mobilen Assistenz beschäftigte.

Im Projektkonsortium arbeiteten neben vier Forschungseinrichtungen elf Industriepartner aus der IT-Branche mit, die nach Ende der Projektlaufzeit die Ergebnisse in vermarktbare Produkte im Bereich der mobilen Assistenzsysteme weiterentwickelten.
